Elmer's Kid's Craft Camp party (and a giveaway)

I was contacted by Elmer's to see if I would be interested in hosting
a Kid's Craft party - UM..YES!
AND I get to share the craft love with one of my readers??
UM..HECK YES!!!

I got my kit last week (it came in the cutest wooden box).
Here's a peek.

I was sent 1 adult kit and 5 kid kits.
I also got a gift card to get extra supplies
(sorry..the gift card isn't included in the giveaway).

digging into their kits:

Here are some of the other supplies we used:

(this is the adult kit)
DSCN4003
(these are the extras I bought)

We had our party yesterday.
I didn't have a set craft in mind so I just let the kids 'create'.
They had a good time being artistic.
Covering the entire table with kraft paper may have been my best idea :)

Of course, I had to have treats.
Mini cupcakes with sprinkles and milk were the perfect snack.
I made the straw slips using graphics from the Elmer's site & glue dotting
(that came with my kit) them to kraft paper.

(the lid from the Elmer's box is my serving tray)

I found clearance aisle buckets to hold all the extra goodies for the kids.

The chalkboard label is super easy to make.
*I can't remember where I saw this idea..
if you've seen it, please let me know!!
Using 3 1/3" x 4" shipping labels, I lightly sprayed chalkboard paint
to cover the entire sheet of labels.
I applied a few coats (let each coat dry thoroughly).
When they are ready : Peel & stick = easy peasy!

their masterpieces..
