A few weeks ago, The Party Studio posted a challenge on their facebook page. The winner would get 12 kraft-colored or coloured, if you live in Australia :) boxes.
My idea won!!!
Pauline sent the boxes right away. I was so excited to get them.
This weekend I finally got a chance to try out my 'winning idea'.
Here's what I started with...
scrapbook paper, glue dots, milk jug lids, aluminum foil & the fabulous boxes!
I used the side of the box as my template and cut out some green card stock. I cut a small strip of black scrapbook paper to look like hair. I also cut 2 small pieces of black paper for eyes (and used a hole punch to add to the eyes). Aluminum foil covered the milk jug lids & glue dots held everything to the box.
It was hard to get a shot with both 'ears'...but I promise they are both there :)
If I had fewer guests (prepping for a big party this Saturday) and more time,
I would totally use these a Halloween favor boxes.
I can see ghosts, pumpkins & spiders hanging out with Frank.
Even orange and black polka dots would be cute!!
So many possibilities!
I actually LOVE the boxes just the way they are.
Check out The Party Studio. Such cute party goodies!
