a super cute (and super easy) Halloween decoration

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a 'vase'..but I can totally see old fashioned candy sticks, regular lollipops, licorice or even pixie stix in here.
Flowers would be cute too!!
I bet you could even cut the top off and drop in one of those 'flameless' tea lights
to make luminaries.  Hmm?!

It couldn't be any cheaper easier ...a milk carton (from McDonald's) and some vinyl (that I can't remember why I cut) and some cute ribbon.

Put it all together and you've got a cute 'pirate' ghost.

It passed the lizard and ladybug "what is this" test...so it's all good!!

We've got more than a few of these cartons saved.
Time to make a ghost family!!

  10. Those are really cute! And you could even use them before you drink the milk!! Then the kids could have boo juice!

Mi sister in law does something similar with plastic cups, but she melts chocolate and uses it to paint eyes and a mouth inside of the cup and then fills it with milk.

    I cannot WAIT until Halloween!

Thanks for linking up to Show and Tell Saturday!!

  11. So cute- I was thinking along the lines of Lorie! If you left them full you could adapt this idea for classroom Halloween treats to go with all of the sweets that will inevitably be there... I think I might just swipe this idea! Thanks!
