Here is my latest purchase from Joanns.
I've wanted a 3" scallop punch for a while..
and I can always use a 2.5" circle punch too :)
The pirate charms were on sale AND since I'm planning a pirate party,
I figured I could use them.
Now the only question is...What should I do with them?
I'm open to any (and all) suggestions.
any thoughts????

GREAT find at Joanns!!
Voted for you ;)
This idea is used for a bridal shower, but would be fun for kids...give each charm a meaning. Example swords means strength etc...Attach to ribbon and bake inside the cake with the ribbons hanging out.
At the party each child gets to pull out a string and see which charm he gets.
Fun finds : )

So I guess I need to go to JoAnn's. I went to Micheals yesterday to buy a circle punch and their selection was pretty low. I ended up with a 2" circle which I hope is the right size for cupcake toppers:)
I'm dying to hit JoAnn's! I need one of those punches. I hate cutting out circles. I'm lazy like that.
I have ZERO ideas for the charms. Sorry. I'm not good at that kind of stuff. sorry.
I just voted for ya. Good luck with the contest.
Those are fun charms! Maybe you could have a treasure hunt and tie a charm to each clue. You could burn the edges of the clue papers to make them look old and worn and then tie the charm on with a string, just a thought. :)
A girl can never have too many punches :)
My only idea for the charms would be to attach them to some fun plastic goblets for the kids to drink out of. My kids think it is hilarious to drink out of "fancy" glasses and it would keep with the theme :)
