Part 1 was all about decor...
Now let's see some grub.
I created a treasure map table cover
(using kraft paper, I painted on big dots to lead the way to yummy food - marked with labels)
I will say..it was HOTTER than you know what...
so some things melted (and were moved inside)
here are some of the goodies we had
Fruit Swords
(with picks found, by the lizard, at Publix months ago)
Plank cookies
(the kit kats didn't last long outside)
Pirate poppers
(I ate all of these!)
Ship wheel pasta
(tortellini with sun-dried tomatoes and basil)
Polka Dot Pops
(the only thing I actually made)
displayed in super cute popcorn boxes from Party Starters
Pixie Dust
more of the cute popcorn boxes from Party Starters
Treasure Maps
(fruit roll ups)..all the kid's idea.
you know..since they are rolled up like maps :)
and of course, Gold Doubloons
Saving the best for last...cupcakes displayed on my PB knock-off stand.
Cupcake toppers by The Purple Pug.
It was all just perfect!
next up...the activities/entertainment :)
