Since this will be the first year I'm sending the lizard AND the ladybug to school, I thought it would be fun to start a Back to School tradition.
We are having a small family celebration on Sunday (Back to School eve) but I've been looking for something else to mark the occasion.
I recently found out about KinderCones.
KinderCone is about celebrating the first day of school and takes its roots from a cherished German tradition that dates back to the early 19th century.

German families
present their first graders with their very own Schultute
(German for:
school cone).
KinderCone is the first company to introduce this
tradition to America through a line of custom designed Schultute called
KinderCones.
So what comes in a KinderCone?
Here is a picture of the 1st Grade Edition goodies
How cute!!!
Could you imagine having these at a Back to School party?!?!
The kids would LOVE it!
What Back to School traditions do you have???

as a homeschooler we have some different ones...lol...the week of Labor Day - I always take the kids to Chuck E Cheese for some playtime..place is empty! Sometimes we get the place to ourselves for hours! We also have a back to school party 8) We are not back full time(we school all Summer) until middle of October!
Those Kinder Cones are bigger than I thought! Lovely idea!
