peek at some 4th of July goodies we'll have at the cook-out

I made an old fashioned pennant banner
(of course, I didn't get a picture of it all made )
but this is what I used.
Simple patterned paper and yellow ribbon, as a nod to my dad who's overseas :)

I stock-piled the aluminum bottles when the Dollar Tree had them.
They are now one of the favors - complete with tags
(designed as straw flags by Tweedle Dee Designs
tied on with good ole twine.

it's the 4th..so we have to have sparklers!!
I used a 2" scallop punch and made these cute circles
(from scraps leftover from the pennant banner).
An exacto knife to make slits on the top and bottom, slide in the sparklers..
POW - a simple, cheap favor!

of course, the robots will make an appearance too (sorry for the poor picture)

there are other goodies too....I'll be sure to share pictures on Monday!

I love the sparklers! That is so cute! I think I like sparklers more than my kids do! The water bottles are really cute too! Can I come to your party?
