a simple Dollar Store craft

I started with a pizza pan (from Dollar Tree) and some chalkboard paint.
Had the husband drill 2 holes in the top.

the pizza pan required LOTS of paint.
The only drawback of this project was the waiting
(for me, overnight) for the paint to dry.
I had to apply a few more coats before it was all said and done.

I picked up some flowers from the Dollar Tree too (in addition to the ones I used for my BOO milk jug vases).  Snipped the tops right off.  Got out my handy glue gun.

Added a simple green ribbon, found a piece of chalk
&....

I've got myself a super simple, super cute
(and super cheap)
chalkboard in the kitchen.

This is a really great idea. You could also use an old pizza pan, maybe one with a few scratches in the surface will allow the paint to stick and dry a little better and faster!

I do believe all of the ideas you've offered on your post. They're really convincing and can certainly work.
Nonetheless, the posts are very brief for beginners.
May you please extend them a little from subsequent time?
Thanks for the post.

Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this blog. It's simple, yet effective.

A lot of times it's very difficult to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Safari. Excellent Blog!

I tend not to leave a response, however after looking at through a few of
the responses on "a simple Dollar Store craft". I do have a few questions for you if
it's allright. Could it be simply me or does it look like like some of these remarks appear like they are left by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are writing at additional online sites, I would like to keep up with everything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list of all of all your shared sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
