I'm a HUGE fan of The Purple Pug (I kinda bleed purple and glitter)...so when I saw Kristy's 'Magical Monster Spray', I tucked the idea away to use for Halloween.
It is so cute/funny/clever/simple - right up my alley.
*I am using mine to 'keep the stinky monsters away'...

How I made my own:
I picked up a few spray bottles from Wal-Mart ($1 each).
Printed 'monster spray' on sticker paper and cut with a 2" punch.
I used Halloween themed card stock (cut with 3" punch) as the background.
Used a hole punch so I could add a ribbon (in this case, a twisty tie).
I opted to use store bought spray but there are several DIY recipes around.
(I used Febreeze...you can choose your fave).
The kids think it's funny to spray away monsters.
I think the kids make the house stink.
It's a win-win!
Where I'm linking up today:
Love this idea as a favor for a children's halloween party. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWe had "Monster spray" we would spray in the closet when my oldest was little because she swore there was a monster in her closet. It was a nightly ritual. So funny!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you decorated the bottles! So cute! I never even thought about that for Halloween. So smart!
RIDICULOUSLY adorable! Love.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I smiled when I saw this. My 2 year old is always whining about "monsters". If I did this, he wouldn't have any excuse not to want to go to bed!

Oh, I am so doing this! Always love seeing the stuff you create!
ReplyDeleteCuteness!! Mine never really said anything about monsters until I took them to see Monsters Inc. at the summer kids' movie...they haven't asked too much lately, but they were definitely on alert. :s
ReplyDeleteCute idea, Staci! My oldest isn't afraid of monsters yet, but it's only a matter of time.
