Paper leftovers..not Thanksgiving leftovers :)
I've been busy printing and cutting & cutting and printing
goodies for our Thanksgiving table.
goodies for our Thanksgiving table.
I'm using Paper Glitter's Thanksgiving/Fall kit (yes, it's a free one)
but I wanted to add a little extra.
I was finishing up cutting 3" circles with my paper punch and got to thinking 'what can I do with the leftovers'.. I had a few extra circles.
I decided to use my 2" scallop punch on the circles.
This immediately made me think of a drink tag!
Hook it on the top of a bottle and you've got a cute tag.
You could obviously write something on it and/or use any paper you'd like.
How great would these be for a casual picnic?
Use team colors and they would be perfect for tailgating.
I also cut the narrow side and slipped it around a wine glass - pretty cute too.
Now after I cut out the scallop circles -
I had to come up with something to do with those too :)
Add a little candy....
{pumpkin spice kisses & reese's}
and you have cute little turkeys!
You could glue/tape/glue dot the candy onto the paper.
They would make a cute treat for a classroom.
They would be just as cute displayed on a tray
with your dessert table at Thanksgiving.
(or any table on any day for that matter)
*If you wanted to take a little extra time,
add a face & some detail to the feathers.
I will be sharing another 'Turkey Thursday' this week...
my version of 'thankful turkeys' (on the cheap, of course).
I also am planning a 'thanks tree' so I'll show you a peek at that too
(also, on the WAY cheap - think sticks and actual leaves)
I hope you all are having a great week!
I'll let you know more details about my '300 club' giveaway - real soon!!!
Oh..I had a new post last night.
Here it is, in case you were sleeping :)
