take-out boxes 'to go'

Yesterday, the whole fam went to lunch at Pei Wei's..have you heard of it?
It's owned by PF Changs and has some yummy food.
Thai Coconut Curry for me please!
The kids LOVE the 'chinese noodles' and have a great time with the chopsticks.
The fact that they have all the fortune cookies
(and diet coke)
you want doesn't hurt either.

Well, imagine my delight when I saw
a whole stack of take-out boxes near the basket of fortune cookies!!!
Now, I would NEVER suggest you take more than you need...but :)

I'm lucky that the husband goes there for lunch with his buddies once a week.
He has been given clear instructions:
1.  Have all the guys take 1 box as they leave.

I figure by Valentine's Day, I should have enough for lots of sweet treats.
and just so you don't think I took home empty boxes :)

Bonus..after seeing this (freebie) idea from The Girls at Eighteen25,
I have a great start to teacher's gifts for Valentine's Day :)

I love these. Very versatile. Planning on using them for B's wii party...but the bigger ones. I'm sure you love that you don't have to buy them! Definitely cute teacher gift too!....OH, I meant to comment yesterday..I've missed your Goodwill Finds! Love the heart mirror! That would look so cute with tealights on it!

I saw that idea on Eighteen25, too! Love it. I think I'm going to make some at the end of the school year for my daughter's preschool teachers.

Oh my word! I am cracking up! You sound like me with Hobby Lobby coupons. I take 12 co-workers with me over the noon hour so I can use 12 coupons in one day! Can't wait to see your boxes! I bought red boxes from Wally World to use!

Have you seen any free printable labels out there?!

I looove Chinese takeout boxes! I used to paint them and put glitter and rhinestones on them in high school... now they are perfect for holiday decor and goody bags! =)
