What 'wood' you do?

You may remember, we are in the market for a new playset for the kids.
Well, I have a very handy extremely family.
The husband and my dad came up with something for our backyard
(which is tiny).
It's perfect for us.  Just a slide - with a little platform.

So now my dad (and his business partner, who is my uncle)
have designed a much larger playset.
That's the one that will be the big birthday gift for the lizard & ladybug.

Anyhoo...after the platform was finished,
there were a few scrap pieces of wood left over.
I asked my dad to cut them into blocks.
Now I have a tower (or 12 to be exact) of wood.

Now I just need a project!  What 'wood' you do with them?
Get it, WOOD - yeah, that's your Monday funny :)

What kinds of things would you do with these little gems?

What a cute little slide!! I love the blocks people use that spell out a holiday or their last name. Geesh there are so many things you could do with them!!! Good luck deciding ; )

I was thinking the same thing Paula said - spelling out something with painted blocks. I love that!

Love that slide and platform! Very cool! Can't wait to see what the new set looks like.

I'm thinking you could paint them all white, or any neutral color, and then go back and paint one side with chalkboard paint. Then you could write/spell anything you want, and change it up!

They would make really cute picture frame type things. Maybe mod podge on some pictures or hot glue on some of those clear picture holders so you could change them out.

What if you painted X's and O's on them and used them in the yard for an outdoor version of tic-tac-toe? :) You have just enough! You could roll them onto a marked out area instead of placing them, to add to the challenge! - Karen
