I'm on a water/splash/pool party kick.
I may have to plan a party just to get it out of my system!
Here's how.
I used Dollar Tree sponges (10/pack) and some rubber bands
(also from $ Tree).
I cut each sponge in half. Then in half again.
Giving you 4 even pieces from each sponge.
I took 3 sponges (12 pieces) and twisted.
It would help to have an extra set of hands for this step.
Next, I wrapped a rubber band around the pieces several times.
Then 'fluff'.
They are super easy to make.
Apparently, the lizard thinks his school friends would like some too.
Time to head back to the store!
*I initially just used 2 sponges (8 pieces) which looks like this.
Just as cute :)
I would love to know if you make these...and I'd love to see pictures too

I am in the same situation as you! Bought a variety of sponges to use and I am planning a water play date once my son is out of school next week! Saw these initially on One Chariming Party.
Love them!! I like the idea of the rubber bands! Think I'll have to make more this summer for the kiddos!!!

Cool idea!! My girls would love this for the pool. :)
Thanks so much for joining my Weekend Bloggy Reading party (and for linking back-I appreciate that!). Hope you'll stop by Serenity Now again soon. :)
Cute colorful idea! Can see loads of summer water fun with these!
Would love it if you'd link this up to my 20 Minute Tuesday party.
It's for projects that take 20-30 minutes and cost less than $10.
Thanks for considering ;)
