Freebie Friday (Teacher Appreciation)

I'm skipping Fab FINDS Friday to bring you a quick idea for Teacher Appreciation Week.  The lizard's school Teacher Appreciation is in a week or two but I wanted to get a jump start on a little goodie for his teacher.

I got this idea yesterday while I was in the grocery store.
The Hershey Nuggets were buy one get one free..
and they happen to look like bars of gold/silver.

What do you think of when you see bars of gold? Treasure??
So after a quick search for printable treasure chests..I found this one.

HERE is the link.

Now I needed a cute saying & tag.  Here's what I came up with:

{The red polka dots are from the Sprik Space pattern collection) AND the black ink in our printer is wonky..but I think it gives the tag 'pirate-y' character :)

And since I was making one for myself, I figured I'd share will all of you :)

If you don't want to put together the treasure chest (it's pretty simple though), putting the 'bars' in a baggie is just a sweet.

I hope you like this idea..
If you plan on using it, I'd LOVE to hear :)

Don't forget to enter ALL of my giveaways.

I hope you all have a great weekend.  I will be up to my eyeballs in PTA duties at the school's BIG fundraiser.  To be honest, I'm really on the committee for the after party.  I hear it's a RAGER :)

This is such a cute idea. The chocolate is the best. I was thinking maybe using a implementing a treasure map with the school on it with the teacher's name on it.

Super cute!!! I am so impressed with you!!! I will totally let you know if I use it. Precious!

Don't work too hard on Pto stuff. I am totally dreading my officer status for next year. I don't think the girls I will be working with know how to party. Maybe I should. Ome party with your PTO!
