The "Mom, I'm Bored" buster

So we've survived the first week of Summer vacation...barely.  After this past weekend, I decided I needed to come up with something (cheap) fun to help keep the lizard and ladybug from driving me bonkers!

Introducing the "MOM, I'm bored" bucket.

It's almost ridiculous to show you how I did this.  It's just paper..really!
take an empty container..I had an empty oatmeal container.

I added some cardstock I had on hand.  Used a 3" scallop punch to add a little 'pretty' (and to cover the blank space I missed).

I also used a 2" scallop punch for the 'activities' to add to the bucket.  The lizard and ladybug helped decide on them.  Some cost money, some don't.  I tried to explain that some take a little planning.  We'll see if they remember :)

There you have it..super easy, super inexpensive & you can fill it with whatever types of activities your littles like.

Hopefully this will inspire you to come up with some fun things to keep your kids busy
& you sane :)

Fantastic idea! I just may have to steal this one! Right now, if they say they're bored, I tell them to go clean their rooms! ;)
