DIY Washer Pendant

Only a few more days until I'll be home alone for the first time since having kids!!
I know I will come to appreciate the quiet
but right now all I can think about is my babies are growing up :)

To keep myself busy (and to avoid bawling like a baby), I've been making simple projects.

I've seen washer pendants using Mod Podge on Pinterest but never tried one, until now.

What you'll need:
Washer - I used 1/2" size
Mod Podge / glue
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
paper - I used Back to School cardstock (from Michaels)
exacto knife / scissors

I don't have pictures of each step but it's pretty simple.
Trace the washer (inside and outside) onto your paper.
Cut out the shape.
Use your Mod Podge to adhere the paper onto the washer.
*I also added a layer of Mod Podge to the coat the top of the paper.
Let dry.
Once it's dry, apply the Dimensional Magic.

*this was my first time using Dimensional Magic..if you look, you'll see a tiny bubble :)

A simple red ribbon makes this a sweet teacher gift.

I will definitely make more of these.
Since you can use whatever paper you want, the possibilities are endless!

What is Dimensional Magic? What does it do?

Dimensional Magic is a liquid that coats the surface and gives it a 'raised' look.
You have to let it dry for 24 hours. It dries clear and hard.

I'd never used it before so I was a little impatient :) that's why I have bubbles!
