good will finds

so, after seeing great posts 

(Serenity Now and Everyday Celebrating just to name a few) 

about the joys of Goodwill and the Salvation Army....

the ladybug and I went after we dropped the lizard off at school.

It had been a while since I visited Goodwill.  

This time I found a few gems!  

I spotted this little silverware caddy(?) right away..

the ladybug happily carried it for me!

*yes..you can see through the whole thing!  The ladybug insisted on bringing it in the house where she immediately dropped (and broke) it - the husband will be in charge of putting it back together*

I found this magazine rack.  

It's perfect to hold some of the kid's books.  

Still thinking about paint colors.

I grabbed up this stack of plates (tea saucers).  The color around the edge (apple green) is the exact color I was looking for.  SCORE!  

Everyday Celebrating had a post about monogrammed plates 

(done at lemon tree creations)  

I plan on using these as decoration (and favors) for the holidays.

Total for all 3 finds = $5.00! 

The ladybug & I have free time on our hands now that the lizard started pre-k.  

I imagine we'll be doing much more thrift shopping in the future!
