Thursday night (rather, ~3am Friday)..the husband and I both discovered we were ill. Doubled-over can't get out of bed sick. YUCK!
We assumed it was pizza we had for dinner. The kids didn't seem sick at all & they barely touched the pizza. So after a Friday of barely doing anything - except halfassedly taking care of the kids - we thought we were in the clear.
HA! Saturday was fine - we went to my mom's and the kids had a blast playing outside. The lizard went to bed fine, no problem. The ladybug napped (extra long) and didn't settle down to sleep until WAY past her bedtime.
2AM she's up, throwing up. Poor thing.
I thought for sure she'd be a mess today. Boy, was I wrong?!? She was up at 6:30 and ready to go. She was ready to eat and eat and eat.
She took a good long nap today - so let's hope she's back on track.
I guess that means the pizza didn't make us sick & now I'm praying that the lizard doesn't catch it - he's a worse patient then the husband :)
I did manage to get a few goodies ready for the back to school bash this coming Saturday. I haven't decided what I want to do with these...maybe hide them in the backyard & have a 'letter hunt'....maybe use them to line the sidewalk into the house...or put them in a few buckets as centerpieces. Thoughts?
