My Thanksgiving

I hope you all had a great holiday (and shopping holiday, if you celebrated - haha)
Here are a few highlights from our turkey day!

popcorn turkey (easy peasy tutorial at One Charming Party)

teepees (found at Maddycakes Muse)

banners courtesy of PaperGlitter
($4 scarecrows from WalMart & Halloween pumpkins turned around)

birthday cupcakes w/ banner from The TomKat Studio
colors chosen by the lizard and ladybug :)
(the husband's grandmother's birthday is this weekend)

Kraft paper, orange burlap, cardstock covered the table.
I used pinecones (painted gold/silver), pumpkins & acorns to decorate the table.
The 'thankful' trees were branches painted gold.
Each person wrote what they were thankful for on a leaf and hung it on the tree.
Turned out really cute!

Our food was the regular.
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables and way too much dessert!
If you're in my 'hood...stop by!
I've got TONS of leftovers!

The holiday rush is on..
Hanukkah starts Dec 1st..and Christmas is right around the corner.
I'm working on some crafty things for both!!

Have a great rest of the weekend!
