I was/am so excited that they struck a chord with so many people.
Who knew, some spray paint and paper could turn out so cute?!?
Here's a super simple sweet treat
(I totally thought I invented this,
then realized it was less fancy 'monkey bread')
No matter, I'm still sharing it..because it's tasty and easy!
Start with these
(I cut them into quarters)

(I used a square glass dish & covered the quarters with melted butter)
mix a little of this

and this

cover the top of the quarters.
bake at 350 for ~20mins or so
and you've got

just for fun,
I mixed up a little powdered sugar, vanilla and milk to make an icing.
I poured it on top while the biscuits were still warm.
Add a fork & these become bite size cinnamon rolls!

YUMMY!

Yum! I haven't made monkey bread in a really long time...not since the sugary mix leaked out of my pan and got all over the bottom of my oven:) I need to try your version!
YUM!! That looks reallly good and easy. I want to try that one saturday morning with the family. Thanks!!
That looks so good!
These are a fav at our house but if you have a wee bit more time - try this- After you cut your biscuit pieces, wrap them around a small chunk of cream cheese... bake for a bit longer! YUMMO! With fresh fruit you have a great little breakfast.
Cheers!
