a little of this..a little of that

First off..here's the recipe for the peanut butter brownie trifle from Father's Day.  I found it in Taste of Home magazine...it serves 20 (adjust accordingly, it's rich)

Next up..I went out and bought some food markers (you know, edible ink) at Michaels to try doodling on some marshmallows (I posted some cute food art yesterday ).  I already had the star shaped marshmallows which are smaller than the regular ones.
*I hate to admit I waited until the kids were in bed to try out the markers :)
I should have let the kids have a go...they are more artistic than me.
This will be a fun project for us to do together..(so simple with so many possibilities)
which is really what my goal is for most of my projects.

3..my mom and I are hosting a 4th of July cook-out so I'm gathering up ideas for decorations, favors etc.  I love an old school paper chain!
so... guess what I'll be doing until the 3rd??

Last up..the lizard is in a music program (Playtime Music Studios) and the summer program includes a craft during each class...he was so proud :)

There are other little things I'm working on (here and there) & once they make it over the pass/fail hurdle of mine...I'll share them with you :)

Those marshmallows are too fun! My boys would love that. I guess I need to go find some food markers:)

I'm with you on the old school paper chains - I did one for my sister's bridal shower. Something about them - they are just so neat to do and can be a family activity at the same time.
